Getting married simply means that you have decided to spend the rest of your life with a person whom you have chosen to love. If you think that marriage life is going to be no different from your bachelor life, you are wrong! It takes a lot of patience, tolerance, understanding, and of course, love to keep a marriage going. In a marriage relationship, there are certain things that when done, you will be forgiven. However on the other side of the coin, there will also be things that if done, will do serious damage to your love relationship.

Below is a list that was gathered from a number of married couples. With the love for your spouse in mind, spare the following list a bit of your time, and you might find them to be worthy of your attention.

1.Lying to your spouse

Do not pick up the habit of lying to your spouse, even if sometimes you try to convince yourself that it is a white lie! Once the lying starts, you could easily be caught up in a never-ending spiral of lies that you might not be able to get out of!

2.Calling your spouse ugly names during disagreements

Just because he is married to you, does not give you any right to be verbally cruel to him. No one likes to be orally abused! Using of hurtful words will only worsen your relationship with him. On top of that, you will not be able to retract those hurtful words later even if you would like to.

3.Raising a hand to hit your spouse in your anger

If you still have a bit of love for your spouse, never ever lift a hand to hit him no matter how angry you are with him! Once that hand leaves him, it will leave a mark in his heart, and that is one mark that you are going to have difficulty erasing! Violence is really uncalled for in a marriage as it will only leave more unforgettable ugly memories in your marriage.

4.Committing Adultery

Unless you want to be on a divorce case, otherwise, being faithful to your spouse is one of the basic criteria for being married. Things are going to get real messy if you have children. Thus be wise and stay out of that line of trouble!

5.Forcing yourself on your spouse

If your spouse has explicitly expressed her unwillingness due to certain reason, do not force your attentions on her that night. Simply remember the fact that she is also an adult with feelings. Try to be understanding even if you have to take a cold shower by yourself. Forcing yourself on even once will bring about cracks in your marriage relationship.

6.Stealing money from your spouse

This is a behaviour associated with a thief! If you have financial problems, admit it and solve it together with your spouse. Be honest to yourself as well as to her. Give her a chance to carry your load, and your will be amazed by how much your love is going to be strengthened through the process of overcoming the difficulties in life together!

The above is only a small list of things that you should avoid doing due to the harm that it could bring to your marriage. If you truly love and care for your spouse, it would not be difficult for you to think twice before doing anything that would hurt your spouse. It is not easy for two separate individuals to join hands in marriage. Therefore, treasure what you have today, and try not to leave room for regret to come into your marriage relationship.
